Where the money comes from
There is no paywall on ausino.club, no gated newsletter and no premium tier. Nearly everything you read here is paid for by affiliate commissions. When a reader opens an account at a casino through one of our outbound links and starts to play, the operator may send us a referral fee in return. That fee comes out of the casino's own marketing budget โ not a single cent is added to your deposit, your wagers or the amount you eventually withdraw. Where an operator runs more than one welcome offer, the bonus you pick up via our link is never worse than the version you would get by heading straight to the casino yourself.
Any page here that carries affiliate links displays a short notice at the top pointing back to this document for the full details. Beyond that, the outbound buttons carry a machine-readable attribute that modern browsers understand, in keeping with the usual search-engine and consumer-protection guidance.
A ranking is not up for sale
We will say this plainly, because it sits at the heart of everything: commissions do not factor into where an operator ends up in our ranking, and there is no mechanism by which they could. The commercial terms with each operator are locked in once and stay fixed, whether that brand ends up at the top of the leaderboard, in the tenth slot, or dropped off the list entirely. If a casino falls short in our six-point retests, it slides down the table. If a casino has never sent us a single dollar yet the testing supports a listing, it gets that listing all the same.
You can see this in a handful of concrete outcomes. We have walked away from some of the biggest commission offers on the Australian market because the test data did not back a listing. We cut operators the moment payouts, terms or support start to slip, and we spell out the reason on the page. And a slot earned through genuine, hands-on testing cannot be clawed back by an operator waving a fatter cheque.
Some listed operators pay us nothing
Not every casino you see on ausino.club has an affiliate agreement with us. Our shortlist spans three distinct groups of operator:
- Affiliate partners. A standard commercial setup, a fixed referral fee and zero influence on scoring. These make up most of the list.
- In-house programmes we have not joined. Some operators run their own affiliate schemes rather than working through a network. Even where we have not signed up with them, the operator is still listed whenever the testing says it deserves the spot.
- Networks we steer clear of. A handful of affiliate networks come with terms we are not prepared to accept; operators tied solely to those networks pay us nothing and still earn their place on merit.
The upshot is straightforward: "pays us the most" and "ranks at the top" sit in two completely separate columns of our internal records, and neither one ever reaches across to shape the other.
What a payment will and will not get you
- We will accept a fixed, openly declared affiliate commission on outbound sign-ups.
- We will not swap a ranking position, an inflated score or a softer verdict for cash.
- We will not run undisclosed sponsored posts or advertorial dressed up as editorial coverage.
- We will not hold back critical reporting in return for a sweeter rate.
